This is beautiful white troca shell hand cut into large round beads, then inlaid with colorful abalone shell. Troca shells are conical shaped shells of sea snails which boasts a premium, very high grade, shell material. You'll find pearlescent and opaque white swirls that come together in an elegant bead, that looks almost like a pearl. There are two abalone shell inlays, each on opposite sides of the bead.
Each bead is crafted by skilled artisans who cut the shell and set every inlay by hand. Both the troca shell and abalone shell are natural materials, so please allow for some variation in color, shape, and texture. This unique bead will add an unexpected special touch to any design.
